Result of the January 2016 CW Competition, and full list of votes cast.

Apologies all round for a) the delay in posting this revised result, and b) for not including ‘croppers’ additional points in last night’s posted totals.

Fortunately this did not affect the result and the placings, but the revised result of the January Creative Writing Competition is as follows …

In First place with 42 points was  … Auntie Rhoda’s Rock Cakes. Written by Fizzeerascal.
In Second place with 28 points was … Meeting Peter the Cool. Written by Danthemann.
And in Joint Third place, each with 16 points … The Fire Crow. Written by Lostinwords.  and The Hand that Shook the Hand of a Legend. Written by Atiller.

Congratulations to our ever popular winner Fizzeerascal for her clear winning story, and to our runners up.

As is the custom, Fizz will be invited to set the topic for March 2016 which will have the standard word limit of 500 to 3000 words.
Thanks also to all the other entrants who gave both their time and talent in support of our little group, and not forgetting those who joined in the voting process and added their valued support.

Anyone who is interested in reading the top placed stories, or any of the other stories entered, will find details of how to find them on this link …
