The APRIL 2015 Creative Writing Competition. Details of competition, and how to enter here!

FREE ENTRY WRITING COMPETITION OPEN TO ALL!

Details of the April 2015 Creative Writing Competition.

The topic for April has been set by the winner of the February 2015 competition ‘Expatangie’ and in consultation she has chosen the topic “HEALTH”, which I have described as “Health, good bad and indifferent, and in the widest interpretation of the word.”

For those that missed them, links to all the February entries, including  Expatangie’s winning story JACK FINDS LOVE AT THE CAFÉ MARCHÉ., can be found here …

I have trailed the suggestion that this might be an opportunity to have a shorter short story month, and in the absence of any comments to the contrary the shorter length this month will be between 250 and 500 words.

Closing date for entries – Midnight Thursday the 30th. of April 2015.

The period for receiving votes will be announced atthe close of the competition.

Votes will not be accepted until after the competition closes.

If you are unable to do this, post  your entry as a separate “Update” or “Discussion” in the Creative  Writing forum at  http://my.telegraph.co.uk/groups/creative-writing/

The “prize” for winning is to set the topic for the June 2015 competition.

The competition is open to anyone with an interest  in short story writing, particularly (but not exclusively) to members of the MyT site and/or the Creative Writing Group and Short Story Club sites.

Writers are reminded that, particularly in these shorter story months, there are no rules barring multiple entries from the same writer.

VOTING..
Voting is open to all.
Just after the closing date a vote collection point will be set up as a “Discussion” on the Creative Writing  Group page.
